Conspiracy-19 is an immersive game you receive in the mail, created by your favorite escape room designers from DarkPark. It contains countless unique items, specially designed puzzles and the kind of heart-pounding adventure you have come to expect from us. You will log into secret websites, see unique content and discover mysterious clues in a race against time to save the world from “the virus.” You won’t get any closer to an escape room than this; the only difference is that you experience it in your own home.

Please note: because the story takes place all over the world and we made the game as realistic as possible, most of it is in English, even in the Dutch version. Of course, the parts set in the Netherlands are in Dutch.

Description

In Conspiracy-19 you meet a mysterious man who is hiding in a Russian bunker. He has discovered something horrific related to the recent outbreak of the virus that has gripped the world and needs your help to connect the dots. All the evidence he collected is in a box that he sent to you. He himself had to go into hiding before he could solve the mystery, but maybe you can find out how the virus got into the world and hopefully find an antidote soon before it’s too late.

We aim to ship orders daily. For orders within the Netherlands, this means you will usually have your package the next day.

We designed Conspiracy-19 so that you can play it alone, as a couple, as a trio or in a group of four.

Just like with a normal escape room, this varies enormously per group. The fastest we've heard so far is 1.5 hours, but the vast majority of people report that they have had about 2.5 to 3 hours of fun playing Conspiracy-19. Some people even spread it out over several evenings. Of course it also depends on how you handle it yourself. If you are a fanatic puzzler who likes to set a fast time, you will finish the game sooner than someone who enjoys the game at ease and makes it a pleasant evening.

Pretty much everything you need is in the box. Just make sure you have a smartphone that can scan QR codes (that's pretty much every smartphone these days). A laptop or desktop computer can be useful for visiting some online parts, but in principle it is also possible with your smartphone. We've tried to make the experience as great as possible for you, so we use different channels to tell a story as complete as possible without leaving your home!

Just like a regular escape room, you can play Conspiracy-19 once because after that you know all the puzzles. You can, however, pass the game on to friends afterwards. For a few euros you can buy a C19-Refill Kit with all the parts that are used up during the game and a clear description of how to return the game to its original state.

While we've done everything we can to make Conspiracy-19 look as much like a real escape room as possible, we haven't been able to pack a game host into the box that can give you hints during the game. That is why we have developed an extensive hint system that allows you to find a hint online that will help you further. So you will never get stuck during the game.

We can't give too much away of course, but we can imagine that you would like to know what to expect when you order Conspiracy-19.

Let's just say you won't be disappointed at all! We really gave everything to create the best possible experience for you and we are really MEGA excited about it ourselves!

You will receive dozens of beautifully designed documents and puzzle pieces including test tubes with blood, a jar of pills, bank cards, a special key ring, a mysterious amulet and so on.

It has become a complex story packed with unique puzzles. This game cannot be compared to the mass produced escape room games that you can buy in the toy store. Each game is put together by hand. We are so proud that we can say with certainty that Conspiracy-19 is the best alternative to a physical escape room.

The only similarity that Conspiracy-19 has with the Coronavirus is that the story is about a virus that is spreading around the world. Furthermore, it is a completely standalone story that has nothing to do with the Coronavirus or COVID-19. The title of the game is of course a clear nod to COVID-19, but that has more to do with the fact that we released the game during the Corona crisis to allow lovers of our escape rooms to enjoy our experiences at home.

Because the story of Conspiracy-19 takes place all over the world, certain parts of the game are in English (also in the Dutch version). This means that it is difficult for children who cannot read English yet to play the game. In addition, there are certain parts in the game that can be experienced as triggering for children. We therefore recommend a minimum age of 12 years to play Conspiracy-19.

  1. Alle drie de thuis escape spellen inmiddels gespeeld; wat een enorm toffe spellen! Heb zitten glunderen over bepaalde verrassingselementen. De thuis escape spellen van andere merken vallen in het niks bij de DarkPark serie. Ik hoop op een nieuw spel van deze makers.

  4. Met vier kids in de leeftijd van 13-15 en twee volwassenen hebben we enorm genoten van dit toffe spel. We hadden echt wel wat hints nodig, maar ook de kids hadden rake inzichten en het was super om dit samen te doen. Wanneer je eenmaal in het spel zit, merk je dat je helemaal wordt meegenomen en voel je de spanning! Een enorme aanrader. Super leuke opdrachten en het zit enorm leuk en goed in elkaar. Echt doen!

  5. Zeer leuk origineel spel met fantastische 'puzzels'! Niet te vergelijken met de vele escaperoom-games die we al hebben gespeeld. Een aanrader voor iedereen. Ik heb net de refill in orde gebracht voor vrienden. Er mocht wel ergens vermeld worden dat er een handleiding / online instructie was. Ik was al even aan het knoeien toen ik de CR code hiervan pas tegen kwam. Maar na een paar maanden geleden het spel te hebben gespeeld was deze 'restore' op zich ook een leuke herbeleving van het spel. Als je de aankoop kan delen met de spelers en wetende dat het meerdere uren duurt, is het de prijs meer dan waard.

  6. Onwijs leuke avond gehad! Zelfs voordat je de doos opent begint het avontuur al en de stappen zijn op een mooie interactieve manier te doorlopen. Zeker een aanrader!
