Can we participate with more people than indicated?

We get this question regularly. Unfortunately, we have to be strict about the maximum number of participants allowed in our escape rooms, and there are several good reasons for this.

Safety first

By order of the fire department, we are bound to the maximum number of participants that can simultaneously take part in the escape rooms so that in case of fire or other dangers, there is always enough space to safely exit the escape room. If we exceed that number, we are not insured, and of course, we do not want to take that risk.

The quality of the game really suffers

It might seem like a lot of fun to come play an escape room with your entire group of friends, but from experience, we know that in practice, the game experience for all players greatly diminishes if the group is too large. In fact, the maximum number of participants is actually a bit larger than the number of participants we recommend. If the group becomes too large, there are always players who miss out, and that’s a real shame, of course. We do everything we can to create the most perfect experience possible for you. Then you should be able to enjoy it to the fullest, right?

Do you really make no exceptions?

No, sorry. We prioritize quality and safety over quantity, and therefore make no exceptions to the number of participants we admit. Even if you ask nicely. Still want to visit DarkPark with more than the maximum amount of players per room? Then we advise you to book multiple rooms at the same time or, if you want to play the same room, to reserve multiple time slots in succession so that you can participate in different teams one after the other. The waiting teams can have a drink in our atmospheric reception area. This way, you can turn a visit to DarkPark into a fun day out!
