DarkPark will be closed from December 19, 2021 to January 14, 2022

First this...

Like everone else, we too are unpleasantly surprised by the strong growth in the number of Corona infections in a short time and the necessary lockdown according to the Dutch gouvernment. We understand that it must be a disappointment for everyone who had a reservation for one of our experiences that the outing you were looking forward to suddenly has to be moved. Nevertheless, we hope for your understanding. We have all been living in uncertainty for almost 2 years now. As a company, we have had to absorb one blow after another and have suffered major financial damage. We really didn’t expect that there would be another lockdown. This is perhaps the darkest period of everything we have had to endure so far. Yet we are determined to keep going until we drop.

I have a reservation in the period between December 19, 2021 to January 14, 2022. What should I do?
During the press conference of December 18, it was announced that (among other things) escape rooms must close their doors immediately until January 14, 2022. This means that unfortunately we have to look for another date for groups that have a reservation during this period. We will contact you about this via email.
What is your cancellation policy?
It is a very difficult time for us as a company. We have had to close our doors for months while our costs continue to flow and have hardly had time to replenish our reserves. Now we have to close our doors again. Our buffer is empty.

Normally, canceling a booking that has been made is not possible and even now that a lockdown has been announced again, this rule remains in force. We wouldn’t be able to handle it financially if our visitors again massively ask for their money back.

We would be happy to work with you to find a new date for your visit after January 14. Of course, no extra costs will be charged for this.

There are no more restrictive Corona measures for escape rooms!

Are you going to ask us to show a QR code?
No, everyone is welcome at DarkPark.
How many people can we visit the escape rooms with?
There is no longer a limit to the number of people you can visit our escape rooms with. That means that you are welcome again with a team of up to 6 people per escape room.
Do we have to wear a mouth cap in the escape rooms?
No, you do not have to wear a face mask when visiting DarkPark. Of course you can if you feel comfortable with it.
What is your cancellation policy in case of a new lockdown?
It has been a very difficult time for us as a company. We had to close our doors for months while our costs continued. Our buffer is empty.

Normally, cancellation of a booking made is not possible and this rule also applies in the unlikely event of a new lockdown. We simply wouldn’t be able to handle it financially if our visitors again massively ask for their money back every time new measures are announced by the Dutch gouvernment. So keep this in mind before you place a reservation.

We realize that these are uncertain times and that it is a shame if a team member cannot come if he or she turns out to be ill shortly in advance. That is why we offer the possibility to purchase cancellation insurance during the reservation process. This allows you to cancel or move your booking free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the appointment.

Didn’t you take out cancellation insurance during your booking, but you still want to reschedule your appointment? This can also be done up to 24 hours in advance. We will then charge a €35 rebooking fee.

If the rules of the Dutch gouvernment change so that we have to cancel groups, we will look for a new date for your visit together with you. Of course, no extra costs will be charged for this. So we do not give money back.

This is our compromise between going bankrupt and meeting our visitors in these troubled times.
